About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Trial Manager to join our team at the University of Leicester. As a key member of our clinical trials unit, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of trials, including multi-centre randomised controlled trials.

You will work closely with our senior management team, NHS clinical and academic staff to provide leadership and trial management expertise to maintain the smooth and effective running of clinical trials and research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of trials, including multi-centre randomised controlled trials
  • Provide leadership and trial management expertise to maintain the smooth and effective running of clinical trials and research studies
  • Work closely with senior management team, NHS clinical and academic staff
  • Perform and line manage trial managers/coordinators
About You

We are looking for a candidate with an excellent understanding of clinical research and trial management methodology in the UK setting. CTIMP experience is particularly valuable. You will have proven project management experience, enjoy working independently and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
