About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Head of Inclusion and Student Success at OnlyFE. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the provision for students requiring additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), those accessing Additional Learning Support (ALS), and those involved in Foundation Learning and Supported Internships.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of Supported Internships, ensuring they meet the needs of our students and local employers.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum leaders to support 14-16 Early College Transfers, ensuring a smooth transition and continued success for young learners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain students who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEETs), providing them with tailored support to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and equity across the College, ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
  • Work closely with external agencies, local authorities, and employers to enhance the College's inclusive offer.
  • Act as a champion for students with additional needs, ensuring their voice is central to the development of policies and practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusive practices and interventions, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • An Outstanding Leader with a strong track record in inclusion, SEND, and student support.
  • The ability to inspire and lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of high expectations and achievement.
  • A commitment to putting students at the centre of everything you do, ensuring that every decision and action you take enhances their educational experience.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven leadership experience in SEND, ALS, or a related field within an educational setting.
  • Experience working with 14-16-year-olds, NEETs, and students with additional needs.
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation and best practices in inclusion and SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
