Position Overview:
As a Project Support Coordinator at Saffron Vantage Ltd, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager in the effective management of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure projects are executed efficiently and profitably, adhering to all relevant Health & Safety regulations and contractual obligations.
- Engage in all facets of project management, gaining hands-on experience in daily operations.
- Monitor and uphold Health & Safety standards and CDM Regulations on-site.
- Participate in regular site meetings with stakeholders including clients, architects, quantity surveyors, and planning supervisors.
- Assist in the preparation of valuations and final accounts.
- Source, negotiate, and oversee the performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Generate monthly reports for the Project Manager, including cost and value comparisons and turnover forecasts.
- Support the site team to maximize the utilization of contract resources.
- Aid the Project Manager with data entry and other administrative tasks.
- Utilize specialized software and tools such as Word, Excel, and Project for project management tasks.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role requiring 42 hours of work per week, typically from Monday to Thursday.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT.
- A willingness to engage in training programs as required by the company.
- A valid UK driving license with at least six months of driving experience.
- CSCS Card and IOSH Managing/Working Safely or Site Management/Supervisor Safety Training Scheme certification are preferred.
