We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Designer to join our team at The Random House Group Limited. As a key member of our Art department, you will be responsible for designing book covers that capture the essence of our fiction and non-fiction titles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design book covers for a range of fiction and non-fiction titles, working closely with our publishing teams to ensure that the final product meets their expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Production, Editorial, Sales and Marketing to ensure that the design aligns with the company's overall strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand and its values, ensuring that all designs reflect our commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to create innovative and engaging designs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in design, preferably in the publishing industry.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to create visually appealing designs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
