Company: ARC Group, a leading provider of maintenance services for residential and commercial properties, is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of our projects.
Job Description: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control strategies to ensure that projects are delivered within budget. You will manage and reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts, ensuring that all expenditure is properly controlled and monitored.

- Conduct financial assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor and report on day-to-day cost control activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in the residential new build and social housing sector
- Knowledge of reactive and planned maintenance
- Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management
- Experience with Schedule of Rates, subcontractor management, valuations, etc.
- Thorough understanding of building regulations and Health & Safety legislation
- Minimum of 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience
- BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying would be an advantage
- Previous experience of pricing planned work and/or repairs and maintenance
- Proven commercial professional with experience in social housing reactive maintenance and repairs
- Experience of SOR codes
- Understanding of the CVR process
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Knowledge of supply chain management and contractual awareness
- Negotiating, communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Full valid UK driving licence
