About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the sourcing of services that support the growth of our Middle Mile network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure services for our Surface Transportation category in the EU and UK, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve metrics such as Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Program, and Product Managers to collect and implement requirements, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or supply chain management.
  • Relevant professional experience in procurement, with a focus on logistics and transportation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and in the local language.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and software, such as MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
