Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Rotational Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a senior member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including MRI scans, to a varied caseload.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice, including MRI machines.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.
  • Responsible for MRI safety in line with local rules and regulations.
  • Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme to ensure the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
  • Competency in IV cannulation is essential.
  • Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rota and be able to attend site within one hour of call activation.
