Join GKN Aerospace as a Procurement Operations Manager

We are on the lookout for a Procurement Operations Manager to enhance our team in Papendrecht. In this capacity, you will oversee the Purchase-to-Pay process and ensure the operational efficiency of suppliers involved in the wiring activities of Fokker Elmo. As a vital leader, you will manage a team of operational buyers and supplier quality engineers, emphasizing resource management, performance optimization, and ongoing enhancement. Reporting directly to the Site Director, your contributions will be essential in propelling our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of operational buyers to guarantee supplier performance
  • Oversee team development, performance management, and succession planning
  • Implement standardized procurement processes and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with other procurement teams to promote standardization
  • Enhance inventory management and foster continuous improvement
  • Build robust internal customer relationships and manage stakeholder engagement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of pertinent experience
  • Background in Procurement Supply Chain Management or Production Management
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship-building capabilities
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
