Job Summary:
The Rotolok Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsperson to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs for our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret contract documentation and specifications to ensure technical drawings are produced in accordance with industry regulations and project specifications.
- Participate in production/project review meetings to ensure timescales are adhered to.
- Produce high-quality 2D general arrangements and layout drawings for manufacture.
- Produce high-quality 2D detailed drawings to enable engineering tradespersons to manufacture machined and fabricated parts.
- Develop sheet/plate pattern development profiles for laser cutting and fabricating.
- Liaise with sales, project teams, and management to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Create parts lists, bills of materials, and identify materials and proprietary items to be purchased for manufacture to ensure timely arrival of required materials.
- Meet and improve costs where applicable and feasible using recognized cost analysis methods.
- Develop new innovative products to supplement the existing product range.
Requirements:
- Good communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work using your own initiative.
- Positive outlook and 'can do' approach to tasks.
