We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Lecturer to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver Carpentry courses to learners of various ages and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of the Construction department, providing tutorial support and administrative tasks.
- Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programmes.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, and electronic resources.
- Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
- Undertake administrative tasks required for the effective operation of programmes.
- A minimum of Level 3 within Carpentry, essential for this role.
- Hold a Teaching Qualification, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or PTLLS, or be willing to work towards it.
- Prior experience teaching Brickwork or Multi Skills up to Level 3, whether in education or on-site with apprentices.
- Minimum C in both Maths and English.
