Support, educate, and assist the organization in the implementation of quality enhancement strategies, drawing from experience in quality-focused environments across engineering, manufacturing, marine, or defense industries.


Key Responsibilities:
Deliver quality engineering assistance to operations, ensuring the uniform application of quality methodologies.
Address quality challenges related to capability, tolerancing, and material specifications.
Identify quality concerns by analyzing issues, exploring solution alternatives, executing action plans, and allocating necessary resources.
Collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team during the pre-production phase to ensure that quality standards are met before products are launched into production.

Engage closely with the NPI team to guarantee that the pre-production process is adequately supported and that quality data is collected and communicated prior to product launch.

Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as necessary.
Encourage and facilitate the application of effective problem-solving methods for thorough root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Work in conjunction with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Toolroom to address supplier-related issues.
Utilize appropriate Measurement System Analysis tools and define, manage, and report on key production performance indicators (KPIs).

Propose and execute improvements to the quality management system that lead to enhanced quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and/or process simplification to lower costs.
