A well-established Road Freight company is seeking an experienced Operations Finance and Administration Manager to join their team in Southend. This is a new role within the business, offering a friendly and relaxed environment.

The ideal candidate will have come from the transport and logistics industry, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in an office environment 5 days a week.

The Operations Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing insurance claims, gathering information from relevant managers, and processing invoices on Sage
  • Helping to prepare invoices from the transport team and presenting them to customers for approval
  • Inputting workshop purchase invoices onto Sage and adding revenues to the cost sheet
  • Managing road tax payments, tolls, and parking data
  • Creating and updating vehicle files, including scanning documents into the server and updating service records
  • Organizing vehicle front sheets and service records for the next year

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing monthly KPIs from accounts and transport departments for presentations to Directors.

The company offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, 28 days annual leave, and a pension scheme.
