Working Schedule:
42 hours per week, following a 4 ON 4 OFF rotation from 18:00 to 06:00.
Role Overview:
As an Experienced Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, selecting, and dispatching chilled food items while prioritizing hygiene and safety.
- Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with specific focus on cleanliness and process adherence.
- Conducting temperature and cleanliness assessments of refrigerated transport.
- Utilizing scanning technology to manage work assignments efficiently.
- Assembling pallets according to established standards.
- Maneuvering pallets using powered pallet trucks and forklifts.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Providing coverage for technical roles as needed.
- Following daily instructions from the Process Leader to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Promoting Avara's Vision and Values.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures.
- Upholding food safety, integrity, legality, and quality across all operations.
- Participating in shift rotations and on-call duties as required.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications for Success:
- Proficient in English with basic math skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and adaptability to various tasks.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
