Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Combustion Rental and Rapid Response Applications Engineer to join our growing team at Zeeco Europe Ltd. This role focuses on developing customer enquiries, producing technical and commercial proposals, and attending site meetings to define equipment scope and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals for rental equipment and rapid response flare projects, ensuring they meet client specifications.
- Project Management: Understand scheduling and scope of work requirements to prepare effective turnover information and support project progression.
- Client Engagement: Follow up on leads, promote the Rentals business across the EMEA region, and engage with customers through technical and commercial meetings.
- On-site Support: Travel to customer sites in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, often at short notice, to support marketing efforts and provide technical/commercial clarification.
- Engineering Expertise: Background in the process or oil and gas industry, with a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a combustion engineering, process or chemical-related position, or a combination of education and hands-on experience.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally some familiarity with Sage accounting software.
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights and willing to travel worldwide to meet business needs.
- Must reside within approximately a 1-hour commute to the Zeeco Europe Stamford facility.
- Full UK driving licence with own transport.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
