About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in Durham City Centre. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting a love of English language and literature.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE in English or a related subject, and experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting. You will be able to plan and deliver lessons across ability ranges, demonstrating excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.

  • Must be 21 or over
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in English or a related subject

  • Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills
