Role Overview

The Paraplanner role at Bond Rec is a key position that supports our Financial Planners and other staff in delivering exceptional client service. As a Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in informing and advising clients on their financial strategies, plans, products, and investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and relevant FCA rules at all times.
  • Comply with the firm's compliance, FTC, T&C, financial crime procedures, and Centralised Investment Proposition (CIP) guidelines.
  • Liaise with clients in a compliant manner, ensuring accurate recording of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Collaborate with Advisers to discuss case details, client objectives, risk attitudes, and capacity for loss.
  • Identify areas for further client financial planning and conduct annual research to review and support the CIP.
  • Pension Transfer Analysis and a broad knowledge of the financial services world.
  • Excellent IT skills and report-writing abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • An appreciation and understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  • Broad knowledge and enthusiasm for the financial services world.
  • A high level of technical knowledge about financial products and services.
  • An ability to work independently, achieving agreed outcomes within agreed timescales.
Working Environment

The role is predominantly office-based, with occasional local travel required for training courses and financial services provider presentations.
