Salary: Circa £74,000 depending on skills and experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our Product Security Capability Centre team. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on security design, managing stakeholders, and delivering project requirements and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security design advice and guidance to stakeholders
- Manage stakeholders, including running security working groups and capturing decisions
- Deliver project requirements and deliverables, ensuring a plan is in place for security requirements acceptance and delivering associated documentation
- Create, deliver, and maintain security artefacts
- Provide a pragmatic approach to security design in line with requirements and budget
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of multiple security frameworks and control sets (e.g. NIST / ISO27001 / JSP440)
- Understanding of risk management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate complex ideas
- Solid technical security understanding e.g. Security Architecture

About the Role:
In this role, you will be providing support to deliver secure products both internally and for our customers. You will work across all BAE Systems business units throughout the UK, working on a range of unique and exciting projects, allowing you to gain experience across a range of products and areas. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the developing of the new team, which allows you to shape and influence how and what the Capability Centre will look like.
