Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home in the Ely, Cambridgeshire area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading, facilitating, and participating in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities
  • Administering medication, carrying out assessments, and developing care plans
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. We are looking for someone with previous experience in providing care at a similar level, who is familiar and experienced in the safe administration of medication. You will also need to be committed to providing person-centred care to our residents, with strong organizational and communication skills.
