Process Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join a leading environmental manufacturer. This exciting opportunity involves working with a talented team to drive innovation and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with operational colleagues to oversee the day-to-day running of the residual waste treatment plant. Key responsibilities include setting control limits for key performance parameters, ensuring quality of plant outputs, and providing solutions to technical variances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and support a culture of safety excellence
  • Coordinate and collaborate with operational colleagues to oversee the day-to-day running of the residual waste treatment plant
  • Set control limits for all key performance parameters and ensure these are met
  • Ensure the quality of plant outputs are achieved
  • Provide solutions to technical variances
  • Daily analysis of plant data to determine optimal operational setup
  • Develop, own, and manage a 'process management system' for the plant
  • Develop training and induction material for new and existing colleagues
  • Train, coach, and develop site staff in all aspects of plant performance
  • Regular reporting of plant performance
  • Identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, guide, and mentor the onsite team
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly express technical and engineering matters
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Well-organized and logical thinker
  • Numerate and appreciate the importance of accurate operational data collection and analysis
  • Honest, reliable, and always behave with integrity
  • Degree educated in chemical or process engineering and working towards chartered status
  • 3-5 years of experience in a front-line operational role as a process or chemical engineer
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and experience with their application within a process/operational plant environment
