Kilburn & Strode LLP is seeking a talented individual to join our Life Sciences team as a Trainee Patent Attorney. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and IP matters in the life sciences field, while studying towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney.

Our Life Sciences Team

We are a dynamic and innovative team of 25 trainees and qualified attorneys, led by dedicated market-leading experts. Our team offers unparalleled training, quality of work, exposure to business development and client matters, and the support to ensure you are developing in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a diverse range of technology and IP matters in the life sciences field
  • Study towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney
  • Develop your skills and knowledge in patent law and biotechnology
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
  • Strong academic record and a graduate or postgraduate degree in a biological sciences related subject
  • At least biology and chemistry A-levels and preferably a third STEM subject, such as physics or mathematics
  • On track to, or have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 at undergraduate level
