About the Role

Our client's IT Services Department is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join their growing IT Team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the IT Manager to provide technical expertise and support to the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT key infrastructure and systems. You will be responsible for working at a 2nd/3rd line level, supporting and leading project work, and assisting the IT & AV Engineer/Trainee.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work at a 2nd/3rd line level, providing technical support and guidance to the team
  2. Support and lead project work, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  3. Assist the IT & AV Engineer/Trainee, providing mentorship and guidance
  4. Proactively report into line management on capacity and performance management of all infrastructure and systems
  5. Monitor the College infrastructure, ensuring performance and capacity assessment
