About the Role
Endometriosis UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer to join our team. As a key member of our communications and campaigns team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness and increasing the visibility of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communications and campaigns strategies to raise awareness and drive change for those living with endometriosis.
- Manage our press office, running it to the highest standard and ensuring Endometriosis UK is the go-to voice on menstrual health and endometriosis issues.
- Work closely with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to design and deliver campaigns that make a tangible difference to those with endometriosis.
- Collaborate with the communications and campaigns team to develop and implement successful public awareness campaigns.
- Ensure Endometriosis UK's communications and campaigns are aligned with our new strategy and boost our impact for the benefit of everyone affected by endometriosis.
Requirements
- Proven experience of developing and delivering successful communications and campaigns strategies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and press releases.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small but driven communications and campaigns team.
- Passion for driving change and improving the lives of those living with endometriosis.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £33,000-£35,000 depending on experience (including London Weighting).
- A permanent contract with a full-time/37.5 hours a week working pattern.
