Our services encompass the entire process, from design through to fabrication, site delivery, and erection. We specialize in a wide range of projects, including Steel framed Buildings, General Building Steels, Balustrades, Staircases, Handrails, and secondary steelwork.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Foreman/Supervisor to join our growing team in Wickford, Essex.

• Interpret fabrication drawings and effectively communicate instructions to employees.
• Manage workflow within the workshop, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards within allocated timeframes.
• Review welder/fabricator timesheets daily.
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets for labor allocation planning.
• Supervise and coordinate production staff while upholding all company regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with customers and CAD engineers to clarify job specifications.
• Proactively identify and address any issues affecting work schedules, including quality control, production defects, and material supply concerns.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to plan ahead effectively. We utilize established systems to facilitate this process.
• Ensure all working areas comply with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Be prepared to assist with production tasks when workload demands.
• Adhere to CE certification standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/team leading experience in a fabrication workshop environment.
• In-depth understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural & Architectural steelwork fabrication.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Valid driving license.
