We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting out a range of products, including electrical and mechanical equipment.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assembling electrical wiring in control panels
  2. Assembling plumbing in control panels
  3. Assembling mechanical and electrical equipment
  4. Testing and quality checking equipment
  5. Preparing and packing equipment for delivery
  6. Loading and offloading equipment from delivery vehicles
  7. Maintaining a high standard of health and safety in the workshop
  8. Managing stock levels and assisting with stock counts
  9. Carrying out administrative tasks, including filing and updating databases
  10. Assisting customers and team members with technical queries
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an electrical engineering or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. An electrical engineering qualification (BTEC Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
  2. Current electrical panel wiring experience
  3. Computer literacy with experience of basic Microsoft packages (Word / Excel)
  4. Qualified to operate a forklift truck (desirable)
  5. Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
  6. A full UK driving license

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hard-working, and able to think on their feet. They will be self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.The Benefits
