The Role:

  • Maximise opportunities within the maintenance plan and other key assets through data analysis and strategic planning.
  • Influences the management of resources across departments and projects to meet operational and financial objectives, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Applies engineering principles and objectives when making decisions and creating plans, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures high-quality communication takes place with all stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, and that this takes place in a timely and accurate manner, aligning with company standards and best practices.
  • May be asked to stand in for Team Leader, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Supports, participates, and contributes to continuously improving processes to ensure they are 'value-added' and cost-effective, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Ensures the best use of hangars, manpower, components, and downtime by ensuring tasks are called in the most effective manner, optimising resource allocation and productivity.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • A high level of awareness of maintenance tasks or extensive experience in aircraft maintenance planning, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Ability to plan in a changing and complex environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and suppliers using different media, with a strong emphasis on effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • IT literacy – strong SAP, AirOps, and Excel usage, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND/degree level or equivalent in an approved Engineering subject, with a strong focus on aviation maintenance and planning.
  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience, with a strong understanding of EASA regulations and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of EASA regulations, including Part-M and Part-145, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Planning, with a strong emphasis on planning and scheduling.
  • Aircraft technical knowledge desirable, with a strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance requirements.
  • Sound understanding of the Operation, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
