About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. The successful candidate will be based at our client's offices in Culham, Oxfordshire, and will play a key role in the Fusion Futures project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out engineering analysis and design tasks to support the ITER equatorial launcher concept.
  • Design, optimise and analyse the launcher design using multiple mirror assemblies and waveguides external to the port plug.
  • Collaborate with the HCD fusion futures team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the use of Ansys Mechanical and Catia V5.
  • Good working knowledge of engineering principles and good communication and technical writing skills.
