Class 1 HGV Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for undertaking trunking work, including trailer swaps between company depots, NDCs, and RDCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake trunking work, including trailer swaps between company depots, NDCs, and RDCs.
  • Work a variety of shift patterns, including Sunday to Thursday, Tuesday to Saturday, and Monday to Friday.
  • Have held a valid HGV license for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Hold valid CPC and Tacho cards.
  • Able to work the required shift patterns.
  • Have no more than 6 points for insurance purposes.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rates, including £19 per hour for day hours, £20 per hour for night hours, £21 per hour for Saturday hours, and £22 per hour for Sunday hours.
  • OT paid after 43.75 hours weekly at £28.50 per hour.
  • Weekly pay, pension, annual leave, 24/7 support, and mortgage references.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid HGV license, CPC and Tacho cards, and be able to work the required shift patterns.
