About the Role

Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Modelling & Planning Analyst to join our team on an exclusive basis. This is a remote role with regular travel to our offices in Birmingham and London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex analytical models to determine workload and demand, resource allocation, and future demand forecasts.
  • Support the creation of short-term, medium-term, and long-term forecasts, measured against contractual volume targets, which satisfy all stakeholders, including internal and external reporting.
  • Create and develop 'scenario models' to understand the impacts of change or marketing initiatives.
  • Provide detailed analysis and forecasts of workload volumes and the optimal resource and capacity requirements needed to fulfill the demand.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, financial planning, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including finance and operations, to gather necessary data and ensure accurate modelling.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting packages to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Creation and maintenance of a resource model to set up daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets.
  • Identify areas for process improvement with a focus on streamlining workflow for enhanced operational efficiency, working closely with Workflow Managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and implement best practices in financial and resource modelling.
Requirements
  • Advanced modelling experience (capacity plans, demand planning, forecasting).
  • Advanced Excel user with SQL abilities and ideally PowerBI familiarity.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data in an engaging and meaningful manner to various stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Comprehensive time management and prioritization abilities.
