Retail Operations Manager
Salary: £13.72 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£12.25 per hour + £1.47 holiday pay)

Are you seeking a position where you can contribute to significant projects for some of the UK's top grocery and DIY retailers? We have openings for a Retail Operations Manager where you will engage in New Store Launches, Refurbishments, Product Range Assessments, and Store Support Initiatives. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, making swift decisions while leading teams to maintain high merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Your typical workweek will consist of 4-5 shifts from Sunday to Thursday.
- You will be responsible for guiding and assisting a team of merchandisers and replenishment staff in executing client-directed tasks.
- Maintain communication with management regarding project progress and completion.
- Conduct health and safety training and inspections.
- Shifts generally last 12 hours, including both day and night shifts (mostly nights). You will manage your availability and accept shifts through our Field Power platform on your smartphone.
- Clocking in and out will be done via your smartphone.
- Work will take place at various retail client locations, with travel requirements varying by shift.
- Your tasks will include:
- Stock removal and replacement following client specifications.
- Adjusting shelf heights as necessary.
- Transporting stock from the warehouse to the sales floor using roll cages and pallet trucks.
- Stock replenishment duties.
- Travel may be necessary when local assignments are unavailable, with accommodation provided as needed.
Desired Attributes:
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision, or team management.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
- Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Proficient in problem-solving with a proactive attitude.
- Must be available to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights, as required. Applicants must be 18 years or older due to the nature of the work.
