Job Overview

Pertemps is proud to support Royal Mail in recruiting skilled Parcel Delivery Drivers. If you possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional results, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Begin your day at the local delivery office, where you'll sort and collect post and parcels for delivery.
* Utilize a hand-held device to capture customer signatures and navigate your delivery route.
* Expect a physically demanding role, requiring you to walk at least 8 miles per day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
* Drive and deliver on foot, with the occasional need to push or pull a trolley.

Requirements:

* Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred).
* Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
* Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities are required.
* A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices is necessary.
* Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
