About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Systems Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading software development initiatives and contributing to our domain expertise in maritime systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead software development projects, focusing on embedded systems using C/C++ and RTOS.
  • Contribute to autonomous or robotics software, collaborating across domains, and ensuring adherence to Software Engineering Lifecycle processes.
  • Solve complex problems, present technical reports, and have familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and Principles.
  • Develop and maintain software within embedded systems, ensuring software management throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Possibility of acting as a work package lead/manager at system and/or subsystem levels.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in software engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven leadership in software development, particularly in C/C++ for embedded systems and RTOS.
  • Familiarity with autonomous/robotics software and Software Engineering Lifecycle processes.
  • Strong communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations.
  • Experience in maritime combat systems, command and control systems, or related domains.
