We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Reliability Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing cloud expenditures and ensuring optimal resource utilization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services), along with proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems, particularly in Linux shell scripting and containerization technologies. The successful candidate will provide valuable insights into cloud spending, ensuring efficient resource use while maintaining performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:


• Cloud Expenditure Analysis:

Monitor, evaluate, and report on cloud spending across various services.

Provide actionable insights regarding spending patterns and trends.

Develop and maintain dashboards to illustrate improvements in cloud spending over time.


• Resource Optimization:

Assess and enhance the allocation and utilization of cloud resources.

Implement strategies for scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure use.

Ensure high availability and performance of cloud services through effective resource management.


• Cost Management Strategies:

Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization within cloud infrastructure.

Develop and implement automated solutions for effective cost management.

Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to integrate cost-effective practices into the software development lifecycle.


• Operating System Management:

Manage and optimize cloud resources across both Linux and Windows environments.

Utilize Linux shell scripting to automate and streamline operations.

Leverage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to enhance resource efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role or similar, with a focus on cloud cost management and optimization. Strong understanding of Linux shell scripting and management of Linux operating systems. Experience with Windows operating systems in a cloud context. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker in various scenarios: CI/CD, development environments, service hosting. Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and their cost management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
