About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our depot team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of our parcels.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for unloading, scanning, sorting, and loading parcels, ensuring they are handled with care and delivered to our customers on time. You will work closely with our team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to our high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and scan parcels from delivery vehicles
  • Sort and load parcels onto delivery vehicles
  • Ensure accurate and efficient handling of parcels
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and report any incidents or near misses
Requirements
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift, load, and carry parcels safely
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment
