About the Role

As an Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting excellent attendance and supporting the students' welfare. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately maintaining attendance records for students
  • Liaising with students, staff, parents, and external agencies to address attendance concerns
  • Conducting home visits and supporting families in the community
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working within a school environment
  • Ability to use school systems or quickly learn new ones
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
