We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Lead to join our Cyber Security Team at Acorn Insurance and Financial Services Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing all security implementations, configurations, and maintenance of technologies to ensure they meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Head of Information Security and technical peers to deliver cost-effective security solutions.
- Work with the Project and Technical teams to ensure security is considered throughout change projects.
- Identify and evaluate alternative vendors and technologies to improve our security posture and business requirements.
- Support and influence the penetration testing and vulnerability scanning strategy, identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Provide governance support, maintaining a central security logging solution, analyzing, mitigating, and reporting on any security threats identified.
- Provide expertise and support in troubleshooting, resolution, mitigation, and reporting of any security incidents and root cause analysis.
- Proven experience in a similar senior security-focused role performing technical operational security disciplines in a similar-sized organization, and team supervision, leader, or management experience.
- An understanding of security governance, risk, and compliance and the support expectations.
- Familiarity with web-related technologies, web applications, web services, and network/web-related protocols.
- Good knowledge of Azure Cloud platform assets and security tools.
- Experience with Office 365 Security suites and Endpoint Security.
