Chartered Construction Surveyor

Your new organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Construction Surveyor to act as the Client's Agent for the construction of a new hospital. This is a client-side role, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
About the Role- Oversee the delivery of the hospital construction project work in accordance with NHS requirements.
- Monitor the work of contractors and subcontractors and notify the client, the Independent Tester/Certifier, and contractor of any potential issues.
- Review the quality of works on site, to ensure the construction matches the design and specification.
- Act as the daily site liaison officer with all site stakeholders, conducting detailed site surveys and assessments.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, monitoring progress and providing regular updates to the client.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Chartered status with a recognised professional body such as RICS or the CIOB.
- Proven experience in construction surveying, preferably in healthcare projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
You will earn a day rate operating outside IR35 and the opportunity to work on a high-profile project.
