Job Description:

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Latitude Recruitment. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the sorting, collection, and delivery of goods from cartons to containers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling: Plan inbound and outbound schedules within the scope of available warehouse hours.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Liaise with clients, forwarders, hauliers, agents, retailers, and internal departments to ensure deliveries are planned and received as quickly as possible.

Requirements:

  • Experience: No experience required, but a background in logistics or customer service is preferred.
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Offer:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per week (flexible start times between 8 am-9 am), 1 hour lunch break.
  • Hourly Rate: £25 per hour (increasing to £12.96 per hour after 12 weeks).
  • Training: 2 weeks of full training.
  • Remote Work: Opportunity to work from home 2 days per week once trained.
