We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our Profit Protection department, focusing on reducing company losses and addressing various operational needs. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Halfords' data analytics tools, including SAP BW, Alteryx, and Power BI, to assess data and uncover patterns related to loss or fraudulent activities.
  • Oversee the annual inventory audit process, ensuring accurate reporting of losses and coordinating stocktake schedules.
  • Generate and sustain monthly reports detailing stock loss, collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive improvements.
  • Assist in critical projects and investigations aimed at loss reduction.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to Profit Protection.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to systems for improved reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in significant meetings concerning Profit Protection and financial matters.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in SAP BW, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Capability to detect inconsistencies in data samples and utilize data mining techniques.
  • Experience in both Support Centre and retail environments.
  • A strong team player with integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel occasionally.
