About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools by supervising classes in the absence of the teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in a positive and safe learning environment
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to overcome barriers to learning
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans to ensure students stay on task and manage any disruptions
  • Collaborate with support staff to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for all students
  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated individual with strong classroom management skills
  • Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people
  • Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to drive and have access to your own car
