Job Title: Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

Salary: £52,000 Plus Bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm, no Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor for our client's reputable site in the Canterbury area. They are offering excellent working conditions, brand new equipment, and a company that prides itself on quality and very good money / company benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with clients and customers to inspect damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required, time scales, and cost for any work completed.
  2. Estimate damage and input all workflow onto the systems (Systems include Audatex).
  3. Look at the most cost-effective repair method.
  4. Explain why you believe the work is required and liaise with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
  5. Review ongoing jobs and identify issues.
  6. Work closely with any warranty or insurance paperwork.

Requirements:

  1. Must have at least 1 year of experience as a bodyshop Estimator.
  2. Ideally, you will have the ATA VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) Estimator accreditation, though this isn't essential as we will consider candidates with time-served experience.
  3. Professional and confident character who is able to deliver strong customer service.
