Fire Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Fire Safety team as a Fire Safety Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring public safety and contributing to the development of our fire safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside experienced Fire Safety Inspectors to develop skills and knowledge in auditing compliance of fire safety legislation within non-domestic premises
- Provide advice, support, and guidance to business owners to help them understand and comply with Fire Safety legislation
- Gain confidence and qualifications to carry out audits and enforce Fire Safety legislation through continuous learning and professional development
- 4 GCSE passes - Grade A*- C / 9 - 4, including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification (including L2 functional skills), or higher-level relevant qualification
- A willingness and ability to work towards Fire Safety qualifications (Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma) within an agreed timeframe unless these qualifications have already been obtained
- Demonstrated understanding of current Fire Safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005
- Experience in using Microsoft Office (including Outlook) and database packages
- A structured apprenticeship programme, receiving training and mentorship from experienced professionals, whilst earning recognised fire safety qualifications
- Work within a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and improving community safety through the raising of fire safety standards
