Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Estates and the broader property team in managing a diverse portfolio across the Southern UK and Ireland, currently comprising approximately 100 locations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance and support on daily property management and leasing matters.
  • Work alongside construction and facilities management colleagues to interpret legal agreements, offering advice on maintenance obligations.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of rents and other legal and financial responsibilities, while supporting cost-saving strategies, such as business rates management.
  • Help develop and maintain the Property Asset Register, ensuring effective document management and property information systems are upheld.
  • Conduct rent assessments, lease renewals, re-gears, and new lease agreements, as well as managing break clauses and seeking landlord consents.
  • Support the Head of Estates in gathering comparable rental data and may assist with property acquisitions, disposals, and relocations as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • A creative and resilient property management professional early in your career, eager to take the next step.
  • Possess either AssocRICS status, currently undertaking the APC, or have recently qualified through RICS.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in property or estate management across a multi-site portfolio.
  • Experience in clinical settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge and understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and be comfortable operating both strategically and reactively while managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator, remaining highly motivated and organized.
  • Maintain a desire for continuous learning and growth to progress within the organization.
  • Hold a full UK Driving License and have access to a roadworthy vehicle for site visits.

What We Offer:

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and stable Property team, working within the established Estates division. Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will collaborate with another Property Management Surveyor. The compensation package includes a base salary of up to £52,000 plus a car allowance (£5,000).
