Description

The Role:

  • Complete accurate and timely month-end financial processes
  • Analysis and commentary on financial data and performance
  • Prepare and post monthly accounting journals and regular accruals into SAP
  • Cost and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial reporting and compliance
  • Assist with the year-end audit process
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Improve or remove inefficient processes
  • Work with external and internal audit teams
  • Ad hoc project work within the finance department

Profile

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Part-qualified and working towards a professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • High-level understanding of MS Excel and finance software
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accounting legislation and regulations
