Job Title: CAD Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to support our engineering projects in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality M&E drawings using CAD software, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and modify detailed 2D and 3D M&E drawings using CAD software.
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and verify drawings.
  • Maintain and update CAD libraries and project files.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an M&E CAD Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and building services.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or a related field.
