The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and professional Spa Therapist to provide a range of beauty and wellness treatments to clients, ensuring they leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

We are ideally looking for part-time 16-hour or 0-hour contracts to work Friday and Saturdays and potentially more throughout the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality spa treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, and other beauty and wellness treatments.
  • Ensure client comfort and relaxation during treatments.
  • Advise clients on the best treatments and products for their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure client safety at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and attend training courses as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Spa Therapist or in a similar role.
  • A recognized qualification in beauty therapy or massage therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for beauty and wellness.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.

Hotel:

The Gloucester Hotel, part of the Signature Collection By Best Western, is located 5 minutes from the M5 and a short taxi journey from Gloucester train station. The hotel has 95 bedrooms, meeting rooms for up to 180 delegates, a Civil Ceremony licence, and a versatile wedding suite for up to 200 guests. The hotel also features a health club with a squash court and beauty treatment area, a swimming pool, and children's pool.

The hotel is within walking distance of Gloucester Golf Club and Gloucester ski and snowboard centre, with one of the UK's longest ski slopes. The surrounding area offers miles and miles of cycling routes and beautiful walks in the nearby Cotswolds and Forest of Dean.
