Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Technologist to join our Radiation Physics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to departments for equipment testing, ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations and approved guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out surveys of medical diagnostic radiology equipment across a range of clinical and geographic locations.
  • Perform tests, analyze results, and create reports using MS Office applications.
  • Drive across a wide range of geographical locations to conduct surveys and tests.
  • Assist in radiation protection surveys of departments, environment, and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Head of Radiation Physics or Director of Medical Physics.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in using IT packages for records, calculations, graphs, and managing information.
  • Ability to travel across sites with heavy bulky equipment in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection principles and practice.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic x-ray equipment operation, imaging modalities, inspection, radiation safety, quality assurance, and patient dose measurements.
