In this role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes for both internal and external products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products in accordance with engineering specifications to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and maintain accurate records within the designated system.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize tasks based on client requirements.
- Manage the controlled quarantine area and oversee non-conforming items.
- Perform first article inspections to validate initial production runs.
- Work independently with minimal oversight.
- Prepare and archive detailed inspection reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in interpreting complex manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledgeable in inspection methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with hand measurement tools and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
- Demonstrates punctuality, organization, and efficiency.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality inspection role.
Work Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary up to £35,000, depending on experience.
Generous annual leave of 25 days plus public holidays.
