We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Cleaning Operative at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our corporate real estate and property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including manual handling activities.
  • Work independently, organizing your own time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

About You

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. If you are a naturally friendly and reliable individual with a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Contract Type and Working Hours

This is a fixed-term contract, with part-time working hours of 18 hours per week, Monday – Saturday.
