Physiotherapist Assessor Opportunity

Merco Recruitment is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapist Assessor. In this role, you will conduct health assessments and write reports on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

About the Role

This is a hybrid position, requiring occasional visits to our local assessment centre. We offer full and part-time roles, providing flexibility to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent health assessments to evaluate the impact of claimants' physical and mental health conditions.
  • Write comprehensive reports for the DWP, utilizing your clinical knowledge and critical reasoning skills.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive, dignified, and professional assessment process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year's post-HCPC registration work experience working with individuals aged 16 to 64.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.
