Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design and Development Engineer to join our team at ACS Performance. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronics solutions for instrumentation and acoustics applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex electronics systems, including analogue and digital circuit design, mixed signal design, and microcontroller-based circuit design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and test specifications.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to contribute to all aspects of the product development cycle, from requirement analysis to production.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electronics design and development, with a strong background in analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Expertise in mixed signal design, including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and analogue-digital conversion.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software development.
  • Knowledge of FPGA-based circuit design and development is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of circuit analysis, modelling, and theory, including power supply technology and analog-digital conversion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electronics issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as IPC, are a plus.
